Rhulani Mokwena wary of high-flying Swallows

Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rhulani Mokwena is expecting a stern test from Swallows FC in Pretoria on Saturday afternoon, saying they are well organised and boast quality across the pitch.

All eyes will be on the Premiership's top-of-the-table clash, with Sundowns currently holding top spot by virtue of a superior goal difference.

And with the Dube Birds matching Downs' unbeaten run step for step, the clash at Lucas Moripe Stadium promises to be an entertaining one.

Mokwena reckons Swallows' ability to play "with freedom and with so much bravery" makes them a dangerous prospect for Masandawana.

"They have got nothing to lose. That's why they play with freedom and with so much bravery. That's why the coach makes so much decisions that are brave and courageous and as they say 'the universe will favour the brave and courageous," Mokwena said, as quoted by

"It's a team with a clear profile and it's a team that has got basic organisational structure of 4-2-3-1 but one that can transform to 2-3-4-1 with an aggressive and isolated wingers that are very quick and able to get behind you and deliver crosses or combination play.

"A strong and stable three in the midfield that has inverted full-backs that can take up shadow midfield positions but very comfortable on the ball and are able to develop play from build up from that situation.

"They have centre-backs that are comfortable on the ball too and develop game in the first phase to into lines and try to get into final third where they invite you even to the situation if you jump in high up you then run the risk to create space for Ruzaigh Gamaldien to be able to punish you," Mokwena concluded.
