Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane expects a tough match against Highlands Park.It will be Masandawana's third match in six days as the PSL resumed last week.A victory will put the Brazilians in a demanding position to overtake Kaizer Chiefs on the log standings.

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane says that he expects a gruelling encounter against Highlands Park.

The Brazilians take on Owen da Gama's charges at Dobsonville Stadium on Friday as the Absa Premiership continues.

Kick-off will be at 18:00.

It will be the Lions of the North's first match in four months following the lengthy suspension of football in South Africa due to the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Friday's encounter will be Masandawana's third fixture in under a week and Mosimane is aware of the potential pitfalls.

"You can ask any team in the PSL, Highlands are tough customers," Mosimane told reporters on Thursday afternoon.

"They're giant killers. It's a team that is very strong. A team that works very hard. A team that is very committed. A team that we all know [against whom] you really have to earn your win.

"You can't just win, you fight. Sometimes with Highlands its more than tactics, it's more on the emotional side."

A victory for Sundowns will put them in a demanding position as they continue to chase down log leaders Kaizer Chiefs for the Absa Premiership crown.

Masandawana have one match more to play than their title rivals and are hoping it will be of good use as the season progresses.
