A US Federal Bureau of Investigation team has visited Lahore’s Moon market, at the invitation of the Pakistan government.
A US Federal Bureau of Investigation team has visited Lahore’s Moon market, at the invitation of the Pakistan government.

According to a private television channel, the team, which was accompanied by local security officials, collected samples of explosives used in the blasts and other evidence from the site.

Pakistani officials, however, have rejected the report, saying the FBI team was only briefed on the attack and no evidence was shared with them.

The Moon Market is where over 50 people were killed in powerful twin blasts on Monday.

Dozens of others received serious injuries in what police have called suicide attacks.

10 kgs of explosives were used in the explosives packages which were also filled with ball bearings for maximum damage.

The bodies of the attackers were recovered from the blast site, with initial reports suggesting that they were teenagers from southern Punjab.

Salaam what is that for a Muslim?

How we get along with an Iraqi Muslim immigrant who used his car as a weapon to run over, and kill, his daughter because he considered her to be âtoo Western?â He will face rule of law, but undoubtedly there will be apologists (such as his son) who say that he was only âfollowing his culture.â

How do we get along with the owner of a Muslim radio station dedicated to âMuslim Family Valuesâ who decapitated his wife because she wanted a divorce after years of abuse? What kind of family values is that?

How do we get along with countries totally incapable of participatory government? When we push democracy in such places as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Congo, even when under our military control, we fail. We push voting, which is the last step in the development of democracy, well after establishing literacy, gender equality, free press, and responsible civil servants. How well did the âelectionâ come out in Gaza? It was a classic case of one man, one vote, one time.

How do we get along with colleagues in the UN who reject the Westâs notions of civil liberties and human rights? The Muslim blocâs newly announced standard of human rights includes punishing anybody critical of their religion (but not those critical of Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, or Atheism). They say their treatment of women is their business â and that their women like it. Indeed, burkas nicely cover the bruises from rampant domestic battery.
